Andy Murray defeated Vincent Millot of France to move into round three

The fourth seed spewed countless unforced errors against the 267-ranked Frenchman in the first two sets despite winning them both 6-2.
However, Millot only had to raise his game a notch to move into a 5-1 lead in the third with two breaks of the Murray serve.

But the Scot was spurred into action by the possibility of losing the set and reeled off the last 23 points of the match to win 6-2 6-2 7-5.
The match began in humid conditions but nothing like those that prompted the tournament to implement its extreme heat policy during the afternoon.
Millot quickly looked out of his depth in the biggest match of his career as Murray broke in the opening game and again in the third.
But his play in the fourth game suggested he may have been affected by nerves to start with as he took advantage of two double faults from Murray to break serve.
The Scot looked less than impressed and went on the attack, breaking again with a precision backhand winner down the line.
Murray had a set point on the Millot serve but did not take it, and then saw three more go begging, one with his fourth double fault of the match.
A net cord robbed him of an ace on his fifth chance but he dismissively placed the ball in the other corner moments later.
