Tony Bellew is to fight in Liverpool during March, moving up to cruiserweight in a bid to earn another stab at a world title.
Bellew, 31, has already failed in two attempts as a
light-heavyweight, having lost to Nathan Cleverley and Adonis Stevenson - the latter in Quebec last November.
'The Bomber' will now start his re-building process in his home citry with a bout against Valery Brudov at the Echo Arena on March 15.
Another Englishman on the Matchroom Sport bill will be Kell Brook who is also setting his sights on a world title.
His middleweight opponent, at the same venue on the same day, is yet to be announced.
The 27-year-old from Sheffield is unbeaten in 31 fights.
