Big Boss to join team in Cape Town Friday
The Home Eagles departed Nigeria for South Africa for the 3rd African Nations Championships on Tuesday without coach Stephen Keshi, who will attend the CAF Awards ceremony in Lagos on tomorrow.


Keshi is one of the nominees for the 2013 Coach of the Year award and he will contest for the award with Golden Eaglets coach,Manu Garba and Burkina Faso national team coach Paul Put.

Keshi is favoured to win the award.He led Nigeria to qualify for the 2014 World Cup as well as win a third Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa in February.

Kadiri Ikhana and Okey Emordi are the two Nigerian coaches who have bagged the award previously after they led Enyimba to win the CAF Champions League in 2003 and 2004 respectively.
